Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is used to refine skin texture, clear clogged pores, and reduce uneven skin tone. Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates and removes old cells from the surface of your skin, revealing the new and vibrant skin underneath.

Microdermabrasion

The procedure

A handheld device is used to gently exfoliate and remove the outermost layer of your skin. The device also employs a light suction force that stimulates blood flow in the area, producing a healthy glow that’s associated with renewed skin. In addition, removing the outermost dead skin cells allows for better penetration of topical products (i.e. vitamin C)

Skin regenerates every 30 days – or so. Skin treatment with microdermabrasion is temporary and should be repeated for continued improvement. Initially, you may opt for weekly sessions for a significant improvement, and then gradually increase to monthly or bimonthly touch up sessions.

The sessions are short – about 30 minutes – and there’s no downtime. In fact, it is often considered a non-surgical “lunchtime facial”, so you can always find time for your appointments without interfering with your normal schedule.
